Maddy is a Los Angeles based craftsperson working primarily in wood, metal, and textiles. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in fine art, she began to sculpt with wood, leading her to woodworking. She has been building custom fine furniture professionally since 2021 following her education at the Krenov School of Fine Woodworking. In addition to her practice, Maddy is a woodworking teacher at Allied Woodshop and the Project Manager at Offerman Woodshop.
